SPIRITUAL LEADER & TEACHER

Lama Choedak Rinpoche is one of the few Tibetan
Buddhist Meditation Masters living in Australia today.

He is the founder and Spiritual Director of Sakya Losal Choe
Dzong in Canberra and Rongton Buddhist Training College.

Born in Tibet, he escaped to Nepal in the early 1960's with his family and completed his secondary education in Nepal. He was a Sakya Tibetan Buddhist monk and underwent twelve years of rigorous
monastic training.

During this time, Rinpoche completed a strict, three and half year solitary meditation retreat, sponsored by His Holiness the
Dalai Lama and under the guidance of, His Eminence
Chogye Trichen Rinpoche.

Rinpoche has been teaching in the West for over 17 years and has an excellent understanding of the western mind, his teachings are clear and full of insight and humour.

Khacho Yulo Ling Buddhist Centre is a sister centre to Sakya Losal Choe Dzong in Canberra. The centre was given its name by His Eminence Chogye Trichen Rinpoche in Brisbane in 2001, and had its first premises in Kewarra Beach.

It is primarily a practice centre for students of Lama Choedak Rinpoche who want to practice the precious teachings he so kindly
bestows on us. It also facilitates regular 8 week introduction to Meditation courses for those who wish to learn this valuable skill.

In July 2005 Rinpoche has published a book on
HEALING RELATIONSHIPS.

The centre is facilitated by Venerable Rinchen, a fully ordained nun
(Bhikshuni) and student of Rinpoche. Ven. Rinchen would like to encourage anyone who is interested in Buddhism or meditation to come out and visit the centre.
