Vesak Full Moon Celebration – Monday 12 May 6pm
This is one of the most auspicious days in the Buddhist Calendar as it celebrates the Birth, Enlightenment and Parinirvana of The Buddha. Join us for an evening of chanting, meditation and offering of light and incense. We will start the evening off with the 16 Arhat puja (ceremony) a beautiful chanting practice that honors the Buddha and his 16 main (Arhat’s) disciples. The Arhat’s made a promise that they would come if their names were called to help the teachings flourish. The evening is about joining together as a community to cultivate wise hearts filled with loving kindness and compassion so that we may benefit all sentient beings.
Bring and offering of tea light, flower or incense for the Buddha and a vegetarian plate to share afterwards. No Bookings required
